MURPHY’S FERN COTTAGE ON HIGH LAKE
Welcome up north enthusiasts to our recent purchase at Forest Lodge on High Lake. Right next door to our ASPEN cabin lies FERN, at the water's edge for your fishing and boating enjoyment. FERN has two full bathrooms, two bedrooms, one with a king bed and private bathroom, while the other has a queen and a twin, though hopefully a set of twin bunks will follow shortly.... living room with working fireplace, TV, VCR, DVD player,dining area, kitchenette, grill, and deck for outdoor dining.
An Aluminum fishing boat is provided as is the use of the canoe that is housed between ASPEN and FERN. The FOREST LODGE grounds are private. We offer a private boat launch and playground area as stated in ASPEN'S description. Linens and towels are provided. No pets or smoking is allowed.
DIRECTIONS: From the south, take Hwy. 51 North, pass through Minocqua and Woodruff. About 5 miles north of Woodruff, watch for Hwy. M on your right. Take Hwy. M. M will take you into the town of Boulder Junction. Make a left turn at the only Shell Service Station, continue through / and out of town. You will reach the junction of M and B. Turn right on B. You are now heading toward Land O’ Lakes. Watch for a sign on the right that will read “FOREST LODGE”. Turn right. Take this road towards the lake; go down the hill, over the speed bumps, pass the beach and playground area. MURPHY'S FERN CABIN is the second cottage on your right passed the main pier. Watch for the moose signs at Aspen, Fern is the next cabin on the right.
